Every company is looking for new ways to enhance its performance. Some might do it to improve processes, mitigate risk, reinforce their commitment to health and safety, increase efficiencies, fast-track the induction of new recruits, improve employee retention… and reduce cost.

Nowadays, innovative solutions are emerging regularly to help companies benefit from virtual reality and digitalisation. Interestingly, as part of any project, visualisation of content, data, model for review, training or meetings can become extremely time consuming. Anybody does have experience of these meetings where time seems to have stretched to infinity.

That said, to immerse ourselves, we ha     ve tried new methods, new approaches (often consuming an amazing volume of sticky notes in the process). With variable degrees of success, some of us have even tried mixed-reality smart-glasses to visualise a model instead of having to pore over detailed 2D drawings (but sometimes headsets would not be well received by stakeholders). Other immersive solutions do exist.

Ideally, shared immersive spaces (immersive workspaces, huddle rooms, data visualisation suites, innovation hubs...) do sound like the perfect solution to allow to retain the benefits of the team dynamic while avoiding logistical nightmares. Wouldn’t it be great if there was an easy and low-cost solution to turn any existing space into an immersive one, enabling companies to save valuable time and money, improve processes, mitigate risks, and increase efficiencies?
