Is this your challenge ?

Decontamination is a key decommissioning activity with high potential. Nowadays, methods of decontamination are becoming more and more
efficient in lowering risk, improving radioprotection and maximising waste segregation. Often, in nuclear power plants, reprocessing
facilities and waste repositories, decontamination can take different forms. There is no single technique to address all kinds of problems and the selection of technologies highly depends on the type of facilities, the type of isotopes and level of activity of the parts contaminated. Furthermore, the physical and chemical properties of the parts to be decontaminated. You do not deal with concrete as you would with metal or plastic. For wet decontamination, not only do these methods need to be efficient and easy to apply, they also need to generate compliant secondary waste in minimal volume.

Gels drying to strippable coatings have appeared over the last decades to effectively deal with loose contamination.
Nowadays, containing optimised chelates and formulation, these are slowly embracing a broader spectrum of application
to be, for instance, used to fix contamination during maintenance operations or even to protect equipment that needs to
enter a contaminated area.
